Dan 10:12 Then he (the angel) said to me, Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words (intercession) were heard, and I have come as a consequence
of [and in response to] your words. AMP

Rogue River Intercession

This is from Betty Denny's Newsletter about our Intercession & Prophetic Acts on the Rogue.

On August 23 Jackson County Intercessors facilitated a Prayer Walk to the Rogue River Natural Bridge, the Headwaters, and Crater Lake rim. We heard the History of the atrocities that were committed against the Rogue Indians in the mid 1800's.
Then we did Identificational Repentance to two Native American ladies who represented the Rogue River Indian Nation. We repented for the violence, murder, hate, racism, and greed committed against their ancestors. We asked that the Blood of Jesus would atone for the innocent blood that was shed on the ground and would cleanse and forgive the sins of our ancestors.

We then went to the Natural Bridge where Pastor Millie Salt prayed and came against any Native American defilement that occurred in the past generations. She then prayed that the Lord would purify the waters and remove any blockages what would hinder the move of Revival (symbolizing the River as a type of the flowing of the Holy Spirit) in the Rogue Valley. I sensed a significant breakthrough there when we prayed that yokes of bondage be broken, and declared Revival and that the enemy is scattered.
There was prayer for the Native Americans to break off abandonment from them and their generations. One person (Ginny) had had a vision of a Native American striking a large rod on the ground and crying, Unity, Unity, Unity. Then the Native Americans were given a large tree branch, and were instructed to strike it on the ground, and let the Holy Spirit lead them, which they did. I felt this was very significant.

We then split up in two groups, one went to Crater Lake Rim to pray at the place where the snow melts and runs down the mountain to the Headwaters.. The other group went to the Headwaters to pray over the River at its source.
There we planned to have communion, but we discovered we forgot the grape juice, so we took the waters that were bubbling up from underneath the rock and filled our cups and had communion drinking from the water springing up from those rocks.
Ezekiel 47 was read, which is about the river flowing out from the temple. Prayers were made that the River would cover the Rogue Valley, and would go into the streets, and there would be a large harvest of all kinds ofFish, and that everything the River touched would be cleansed and healed.
Prayer was made that the Floodgates be open and release the full force of the flow of the Holy Spirit and flood the Rogue Valley with the Glory of God from the Headwaters even to the sea.

In closing, I sensed there was a significant Breakthrough, and the Strongmen of violence, murder, hate, racism and greed were bound and removed from The Rogue Valley.

I was impressed that the prayers of the Saints for the last few decades have been like a hammer cracking a nut. That every time warfare is waged against the enemy, there is a cracking of the hard shell, weakening the enemy, until the final blow comes and the nut cracks open. I believe the Lord dealt a deadly blow to the Strongmen of violence, murder racism, hate, and greed over the Rogue Valley. Jeremiah 23:29Amp. states:
"Is not My word like fire that consumes all that cannot endure the test? Says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks in pieces the rock [of most stubborn resistance.] "
I also got Jeremiah 1:10 Amp. "See, I have this day appointed you to the oversight of the nations and of the kingdoms to root out and pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant." Now, I sense the next steps should be to rebuild and replant for the
Kingdom of God in the Rogue Valley. Isaiah 58:12 states, "And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of [buildings that have laid waste for] many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In."

Now, I believe we need to begin to rebuild and raise up the foundations from the former generations and be the vessels of the Lord bringing restoration, healing, deliverance, recovery, and wholeness to the people of the Rogue Valley. We must be ready to "step into the River of the Lord" and flow with the Holy Spirit to bring His salvation "sozo" (body, soul and spirit) to the next person we meet, flowing in union with the Holy Spirit each day.
Let us rebuild and replant for a great abundant Harvest in the Rogue Valley. We pray that the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord will cover the Rogue Valley as the waters cover the sea. "There is a River whose streams make glad the City of God. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved." Psalm 46:4,5
