08/02/2009The Spirit of the Lord says, “That for too long, this has been a church between ‘here and there’. No longer in Egypt but not yet in the Promised Land. You’ve been a people surviving in the desert and I have sustained you through those times.” says the Lord. “But today is the day when I say it is time to cross over. It is time to cross over into the promise. A mill does not turn on water that has passed and there are some things you’re gonna have to leave in the desert when you cross over, some mindsets and beliefs, even some blueprints,” and the Lord says, “Leave them behind because what I have before you is like nothing you have ever seen.”
“You’ll know the moment for crossing has come because you’ll see the priests standing in the water holding back the rivers.” this is what the Lord says, “Let him who has an ear hear what the Spirit is saying.”
You people are in a beautiful place and I want you to know that every church comes to this place and when you come to the River I’m sad to say most churches turn back because it’s hard. They turn back to what they knew. They turned to what they grew up in or what they felt comfortable with or just whatever works for them. God is calling you to cross over into a whole different experience and “If you will cross over,” says the Lord, “there is an expression of worship like you’ve never seen that’s coming into this house.”
There is a moving of the Spirit that’s going to come and I’m gonna tell you it will be like a wind that comes and undoes you and undoes you.
I saw[1] this morning people laying on the floor all over the place and the Spirit of the Lord hovering over them, ministering to them, doing spiritual surgery, all kinds of things taking place.
I saw a different kind of worship. It wasn’t something I could hear. It was something I could see and I don’t know how to explain it other than that. I hear a time frame of twelve weeks and I’m not sure what is going to happen in the next twelve weeks and I don’t want you to hold your breath until twelve weeks but there is something gonna be happening over the next twelve weeks that is going to usher this all in. Be looking for it guys. Get back to prayer. Leave aside all the cynicisms, all that hope deferred, heartsickness and say, “I want to get in while the gettin is good. I want to be a part of what God does in the promise land.”
See, what’s coming for the church nationwide and worldwide is that what the church will become will be absolutely unrecognizable from what it is right now. There are new expressions. There are new . . . . I’m not going to talk about it. There are some things that are coming for the church that if you’re not flexible and you’re not willing to think in a new way, you’ll miss what God is doing. Smell the wind, follow what God is doing and He is going to make sure that you’re part of it here. You’re not going to miss out. You’re not going to drop the ball. He is making room for future fruitfulness.
