Con't report on I-5 from Carolyn
Carolyn Bell
I remember a few other details that haven't been mentioned yet.
1) Concerning the Geese, there were exactly 3 Geese at the head of the V. They were in Single File fashion one behind the other. It seemed to me that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit was confirming by this 3-fold witness that victory is indeed ours. It is ESTABLISHED!!!
2) When we were on the overpass and prayer was going forth, there came a shaking and as I looked up it was a runner who was wearing red. It was like Jesus' blood was "running" quickly through our region both cleansing and confirming Himself and His Victory.
3) In the Dairy Queen parking lot as we were praying a car drove up with 2 dogs in it. The dogs were barking at us and really wanted to come over to us but the owner restrained them and pulled them away. I remember that Pastor Daniel said that we needed to stay focused on the prayer. They were distracting and it reminded me of how hard the enemy tries to distract us often in the guise of something that seems good, legitimate, scary, or exciting. I felt God was calling us to be watchful as we consider the purpose of God and what distracts us from it.
4) At the next to the last stop we were under a tree and several people pointed out an empty bird's nest that was on the ground. While reflecting on that I felt God is saying that we have no more need for the nest because God has taught us how to fly and we are "out of the nest" now and are ready to soar with Him.
5) Finally, we were to meet over by the Adult Store. We came in 4 different groups. It was a challenge to get connected because at first 2 of us were waiting there and the 2nd group didn't see us so they turned and left before we could connect. Then just as the 2 of us left to see where they'd gone, we passed them on the road and had to turn around. As we arrived back everyone was waiting on us. I think God is alerting us not to give up but to make every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. The enemy really, really didn't want us to pray and put a stake in there. OUr enemy doesn't want us to take any of what he perceives is his territory so we will have a battle. We were cold and tired and it was hard to focus, but we did and God showed us a rainbow just as we were starting to pray. It was truly awesome. God helps us to get together, focus, be unified, and confirms what He is doing by His own special promise.
Praise God that HE gives us these kinds of affirmations as we follow His lead. God is truly in the big picture and in the details.
