5/14/08 Prophetic word about revival in Medford from Scott Morton to Richard Larcombe of New Song

There is forerunning call on the tri-state area of Washington, Idaho and Oregon. I sense that call extending down to Redding. But I sense it stop abruptly there. It's hard to describe but it's like a wall that is just south of Redding. It's like God moved in Redding to set up a fortress that will protect evil from moving north but also to bring destruction and a wild river flows south into San Francisco. I feel strongly that God is going to use Bethel and others to take San Francisco.
For generations there has been a blessing of relational liberty in your region. This birthed many places of the Holy Spirit like in Spokane and in Boise, but many places of false relationship such as new age, Mormonism and other cult type religions. As one who travels around this country, trust me, your call is strong and definitely discernible. It is generational and as a result had become a geographical blessing.
As a result, there are many spiritual wells that remain untapped in and around your tri-state area. I believe that you and your church are one of those wells. An apostolic regional well that will teach other "well owners" how to uncap their wells.
Medford is an oasis. A wellspring in the middle of the harvest fields. It is a place with the Presence of the Holy Spirit will reside for people who need a drink. Like Spokane, it's the city of the river! (You both have a mighty natural river running through the city).
Many who have been in ministry for years... even generations will come to you to know who God is, to be re-fired up, to be broken of religious spirits, to be revealed to real relationship both on the man-to-man level in God to man levels... they will come to you to get it. They will leave with purpose because they got everything they needed to start a revival of their own.
You are a strategic regional spot that is getting what many other spots have gotten, sort of a second wave of people who have been waiting for this for some time. You might have said, "they are getting it, why not us?!" Will here it is. Now it's upon you. You waited, and because you waited you will be able to minister something that will bless many who have been waiting for a real relationship in a way that others cannot.
But expect persecution. You have nothing to fear in it. Most of the persecution will come from the religious church, not the people in the streets. Love them back. Do not repay an offense for an offense. In so doing you will win many of those religious churches over. Some you will not be able to win. But in as much as you "turn the other cheek", you will win as many hearts.
Romans 12: 17-21 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. It is possible, as much as depends on you living peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath: for it is written, "vengeance is Mine. I will repay, "says Lord. Therefore "if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Let no one steal your joy because they accuse you of error. Let no one pull you down because of condescending judgment. Do not allow the spoken or written words of those who passed judgment against Revival hold you back from the radical stuff God is now calling you into.
You have the power and the authority that Jesus had and more. You have the word in you and the word to speak forth. So as you minister in healing, speak to the city and the streets. Then speak to the wrecked and the wealthy. Speak forth the word in a prophetic way into Medford and you will see the bars empty out, the harvest of Medford reaped and the streets filled with joy in the Holy Spirit.
